Maui Volcano Ride - Non Club

There will be a non-sanctioned ride available for club members on September 3rd and 4th in Beaver.  These will be different trails from the ones we rode last year. The rides will be limited to machines 70" or less.   We will cross several bridges that have sides on them which will limit the width.

On Friday the 3rd we will be riding to the Parowon Gap.  This will be approximately a 100 mile ride.

We will see beautiful vistas, dinosaur tracks, petroglyphs, history of the area and timber trails.  When we reach the gap, a local expert will give a guided tour of the site for the negotiated price of just $2 per person (and no she does not take credit cards, checks or bit coins).

The Saturday ride will be up to Puffer lake and will be approximately 65 miles allowing us to finish in time for those that want to go home Saturday.  We will be riding through timber and mostly on two-track trails.  Again, we will see some beautiful vistas and fun trails. Keep your eyes peeled for elk.

These are not trailered rides.  You can ride your machine from your motel or rv for both rides.  As always, ride prepared.  We will be climbing in elevation so it can cool off.   Most machines can cover 100 miles without needing fuel, but again, ride prepared and bring a lunch for both rides.

Beaver offers a number of motels and RV opportunities.  A google search will help you to find accommodations.  There are also some excellent restaurants in Beaver.
