Note: This ride has changed because of difficulty getting permits for the Bears Ears National Monument.
On Friday we will ride the Bridger Jack Trail. (40 miles). Spectacular views near the Needles area of Canyonlands N.P. We will stop at Newspaper Rock. Access to the staging area is 35 mile NW of Monticello. Half two-track and half dirt road. Difficulty level 2.
On Saturday we will ride the Hook and Ladder Trail. (40 miles). It is a moderate trail with some great views and some challenging spots. It is located 25 miles north of Monticello and 30 miles south of Moab. Slick Rock and two-track. Difficulty level 3.
We will be staying at the Abajo Motel in Monticello, UT - 435 587-2261. They currently have 8 rooms left. If several of us sign up, they will give us a 10-15% discount. Just register under NUATV…
